Visual Culture is ubiquitous and helps to circulate knowledge and understanding about different cultures. The contributions include research from different media of visual presentation: artworks in many different forms, photo and film, literature, dance performances and museum exhibitions, and discusses social practices. The contributors’ backgrounds range from West- and Central Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, most of them far-reaching in global contexts.
