Die Veröffentlichung der FORUM-Studie hat das erschreckend hohe Ausmaß an sexualisierte Gewalt auch in den evangelischen Kirchen und der Diakonie deutlich gemacht. Die Studie hat die Kirchen und nicht zuletzt die Theologie aufgefordert, pro-aktiv ihre spezifischen Perspektiven in die weitere Erforschung der Thematik einzubringen. Der vorliegende Band ist ein solcher Versuch, in welchem in Aufnahme der FORUM-Studie historische, theologisch-systematische, pastoraltheologische und handlungsorientierte Beiträge publiziert sind, die insbesondere genuin protestantische Konstellationen untersuchen, welche sexualisierte Gewalt ermöglicht und deren Aufarbeitung erschwert oder sogar verhindert haben.
