Morton "Mort" Meskin (1916-1995) is one of the most recognizable styles among Golden Age (and later Silver Age) illustrators, known for his excellent depiction of action scenes using a snapshot method. He is admired not only by readers, but by other masters of the genre. Steve Ditko said, "Meskin was fabulous, I couldn't believe the ease with which he drew: strong compositions, loose pencils, yet complete; detail without clutter. I loved his stuff."* Meskin worked for nearly every major comic publisher of his day, and many of the smaller ones, too. His late 1940s work on Black Terror and Fighting Yank are considered to be among the best of those series' - so of course we have all those stories for you here! These stories originally appeared in Black Terror #23-27 (June 1948-June 1949), Exciting Comics #64 & #66 (November 1948 & March 1949) and Fighting Yank #25-29 (August 1948-August 1949). They include the stories which were a team effort of art-partners Jerry Robinson and Mort Meskin.
