FREDERICK RYCROFT retired from the State University of New York at Canton, where he was employed for thirty-five years, last holding the position of Director of Facilities. He and his wife still reside in Canton, New York where they have both spent there entire lives. He enjoys the company of his three children and ten grandchildren. This is his first work of fiction, inspired by the need to share the uniqueness of life in a small rural town in the northern part of New York State.
