Cheryl M. Cassidy lives in Springfield, Massachusetts, with her husband, Frank, and her dog, Larsson. Cheryl started her own small jewelry-making business in 2004. She makes handmade beaded jewelry and other gift items, such as paper boxes and crocheted items. She sells her one-of-a-kind jewelry and gift items at local craft fairs and to family, friends and co-workers. As her business grew and she learned more about jewelry making, she became interested in the history of jewelry and how it all started. As she did more research into jewelry history, she found a lot of interesting information and decided to write a book about it. She currently works full-time as a civilian government employee. She is also currently working on attaining her bacheloras degree in business management.
