Epidemiology ostensibly exists to reveal and ascribe features to burdens of disease at a population level. This edited volume brings together empirical accounts of epidemiological obfuscation developed by public health researchers from diverse fields, including medicine, history, anthropology, sociology, epidemiology, and rhetoric.
