George Bernard Mann was the son of Hans Mann. He was born in Germany in 1701. He married Anna Geisser in 1723 and they had three children. He married Ann Margretha in 1731 and they had seven children. They emigrated in 1732 and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. In about 1745 they moved to Virginia where George died sometime after 1769. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and elsewhere.
